Lefties Want to Spend Your Hard-Earned Cash on Shocking New Scheme!

Lib Dems on Dorset Council are causing a stir with their outrageous call to set up a half million pound "Cost of Living Support Fund."
These tax-and-spenders want to dip into council reserves to finance their socialist scheme, which they say will help families struggling with inflation and interest rate rises. But who are they kidding? It's just a sly way to redistribute your hard-earned money!
At a full council meeting on February 14, these money-grubbing politicians will present their motion as an amendment to the budget. They say the fund will target those in need, but what they really mean is that they want to line the pockets of the "disadvantaged" - code for those who don't know how to manage their finances.
The amendment, proposed by Lib Dem group leader Cllr Nick Ireland, and seconded by Weymouth Councillor Cllr Gill Taylor, suggests that over £100,000 be paid into the fund from central government, with the rest taken from unallocated reserves. How convenient!
These so-called "helpful" policies are just a way to fund their political agenda. Rural residents, who they claim are "disproportionately affected" by fuel price increases, are really just victims of their own poor life choices. They should take responsibility for their own finances instead of relying on handouts from the council.
And don't even get us started on the "Household Support Fund," which closed within hours of opening due to "unprecedented" demand. It's time for these Lib Dems to face reality and stop trying to spend other people's money on their pet projects.
