BREAKING NEWS: Waterworks To Close Road in Lyme Regis for 2 Days!

In a move that's set to send shockwaves through the sleepy seaside town of Lyme Regis, a 15m stretch of road will be closed for two whole days for some good old-fashioned waterworks.
From the 13th to the 15th of March, Poole’s Court will be completely off limits to all vehicles, meaning that drivers will have to find an alternative route if they want to make it to their destination on time.
The closure is necessary to allow South West Water safe access to provide a new water service. However, with no alternative route in place, it remains to be seen just how residents and visitors to the area will cope with this unexpected disruption.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council was keen to stress that the closure is needed to comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It's clear that these works will have a significant impact on the local community, and we'll be keeping a close eye on how the situation develops in the coming days. Stay tuned for further updates!
